Our story began in 1990 in a home garage. Back then, we were known as Aqua Kleen, a one-man operation dedicated to cleaning and refinishing resort patio furniture. As the years passed, our owner and lead designer, Carl Buhr, realized that “good enough” simply wasn’t enough for his customers. He saw a pressing need for furniture that didn’t just look good, but could truly withstand the relentless Florida elements. Driven to build a superior product from the ground up, Carl transitioned the business from restoring furniture to manufacturing it. By 2005, we officially incorporated as A&K Enterprise of Manatee. We chose to keep the “A” and “K” in our name as a tribute to our Aqua Kleen beginnings—a constant reminder of the grit, history, and hands-on craftsmanship that still define every piece we build today.

Customers
A&K primarily works with commercial customers, such as water parks and resorts, but we also offer our premium outdoor pool and patio furniture direct to the public so that anyone can purchase it.
Buying directly from the manufacturer ensures complete customization, the best prices, and no hassle. Please keep in mind that our furniture is commercial grade. Our products are made from aluminum to ensure no rusting, they are fully welded at all joints, and are sandblasted prior to being powder-coated to ensure the best finish possible.
