Shipping Information

Quoting Shipments

Since shipping patio furniture can be expensive, we shop our network of trusted LTL carriers to get the best rate possible. Carriers determine their shipping rates by density and distance.

Your furniture may arrive boxed, palletized, or stacked without boxes in a trailer. It all depends on the number of items being shipped. We will let you know in advance what to expect upon delivery of your new outdoor furniture.

Even though shipping damage is rare, it is very important that you inspect your shipment for damage. This includes opening the boxes and removing the furniture if neccessary. Any damage that you find must be noted on the freight bill for the shipping company to honor a damage claim. We will gladly assist you in this process should damage occur.

Shipping cartons, boxes, pallets, and handling fees are included in the shipping price listed on your quote.

Receiving A Shipment

AS THE RECIPIENT OF A SHIPMENT, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNLOADING, INSPECTING, AND TRANSPORTING THE FREIGHT FROM ITS CURBSIDE DELIVERY POINT TO ITS FINAL DESTINATION. IF YOU ARE RECEIVING A LARGE SHIPMENT, YOU MAY NEED TO HAVE A CREW AVAILABLE FOR UNLOADING.

UPON RECEIPT, OPEN BOXES AND FULLY INSPECT FURNITURE IN THE DRIVER'S PRESENCE. IF DAMAGE IS FOUND, NOTE ALL DAMAGE ON DRIVER'S FREIGHT BILL AND TAKE PICTURES. IF THESE GUIDELINES ARE NOT FOLLOWED, WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGED ITEMS AND THEY BECOME YOUR PROPERTY, MEANING THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REPLACEMENT COSTS.

IF DAMAGE IS FOUND:

It is our priority to ensure that you do not have to incur any replacement costs for damaged furniture. In order for us to do so, YOU MUST INSPECT THE FURNITURE IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER AND WRITE ON THE FREIGHT BILL THAT DAMAGE OCCURRED. Please do not refuse any pieces as it incurs additional charges from the carrier that you will be responsible for.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

We will e-mail you with your tracking information when your order ships. You may then contact the carrier for an estimated delivery date, however the carrier should call you at least 24 hours in advance to schedule delivery. All shipments are delivered by a freight line and will be unloaded curbside. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO UNLOAD THE FURNITURE, PLEASE NOTIFY US PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR ORDER SO THAT WE MAY RECEIVE A NEW SHIPPING QUOTE THAT INCLUDES AN 'INSIDE DELIVERY FEE'.

ACCESS: If you live in a gated community you must notify the gate house personnel of the pending delivery or provide a gate entrance code to the carrier. Some deliveries may require you meet the driver at a place that is accessible by the truck.
