Enterprise of Manatee, Inc. we manufacture high quality commercial patio furniture with USA made quality products. Carl Buhr, the owner and product designer has been in the furniture business for over 40 years. A & K Enterprise of Manatee Inc was created in 2005 and through the years we have become a family owned business. A & K’s staff is composed of skilled and experienced patio furniture artisans that manufacture patio furniture all year round, specializing in vinyl strap and premium sling patio furniture.
OUR story
Our Backstory
Established in 1990 as Aqua Kleen, A & K Enterprise started as a one-man patio furniture refinishing and sales operation. By the late 1990’s, it became apparent that needs of Aqua Kleen’s customer base had changed. In order to meet those needs, Aqua Kleen began to manufacture patio furniture. In 2005, Aqua Kleen became a corporation and changed it’s name to A&K Enterprise of Manatee, owing the A from Aqua and K from Kleen to the new company name. Within the past year we have updated our name to Best Buy Patio Furniture by A & K Enterprise.
You may have seen our logo change? Our company’s name is A&K Enterprise of Manatee, Inc. but for marketing purposes we created: “Best Buy Patio Furniture by A&K Enterprise of Manatee, Inc.”
Reasons why we made this update: “Best Buy Patio Furniture” immediately clarifies what our business offers, eliminating any potential confusion for first-time visitors. “Best Buy” evokes a sense of value and affordability, potentially attracting a wider audience who might not have considered A&K Enterprise before. Having separate names for marketing and legal purposes allows us to tailor our messaging and branding to resonate specifically with potential customers, while maintaining the legal identity of A&K Enterprise of Manatee, Inc.
Customers
A&K primarily works with commercial customers, such as water parks and resorts, but we also offer our premium outdoor pool and patio furniture direct to the public so that anyone can purchase it.
Buying directly from the manufacturer ensures complete customization, the best prices, and no hassle. Please keep in mind that our furniture is commercial grade. Our products are made from aluminum to ensure no rusting, they are fully welded at all joints, and are sandblasted prior to being powder-coated to ensure the best finish possible.
